Nowadays artists are recommended not to release whole albums. The argument is that Spotify and online-streaming have changes peoples music behaviour. The freedom of having all the world’s music available through a few clicks on our smartphones has made us restless. We don’t want a whole bunch of songs from an artist every second year. We want new material all the time – and one song at a time.
Southside Café wants to be a modern band. Our sound might be a bit retro and we haven’t really figured out this thing called Instagram yet, but we are working on it. Even though we recently released our album Ghosts, we hereby proudly announce that we will be releasing new music soon. The plan is to release three new songs before the end of 2019. A first single will be out at the end of the summer.
And by the way, this is our new logo! Nice, isn’t it?
